I am considering doing an inexpensive Greddy setup on my D15- until I find a D16 to build for my rex. Anyone have any experience w/ forced 1.5? I probably won't go with an intercooler, Yet. Just want to get some more fun out of the my 1.5 until I build a 1.6. I know it sounds like a retarded idea- so don't post swap opinions please. Thanks for any input.

 

The guy I bought my GReddy from had it on his 5G DX 1.5.. said he ran a best of 15.1 @6psi which is about right..

 

weve done it sooo many times, our best run on our dx motor at 9 psi was a 13.8. thats a 1.6 60 ft though. it was a t 25 turbo. running a spearco front mount. i say do it. what do you have to lose other then a d15 motor?

 

I had a t25 on my d15 for almost a year. It was fun and a really good way to learn about a turbo setup and maintenance. It's just a d15 so a 50 dollar replacement engine is always somewhere to be found, if not free!

I had a boost controller malfunction (pinched vacuum line) and I boosted 17psi for a couple of seconds. Well whaddya know... 2 broken rods and a 3rd bent to high hell. the damage is on a link somewhere on my page.... czech it! http://home.earthlink.net/~pritos/civic/civic.html

I put on 75 shot of zex on my 1.5 hatchie and it ran great, still slow, but great. 15.4

 

i love my sohc
other than the fact it has no *****, is slow as ****, has 1 DAMN CAM AND 130 HORSEPOWER.
sorry im pissed at my motor right now....7 days....
