Default TEIN RA on a 97 GSR???

Ok, you all know that the TEIN RA is made only for the 97-up ITR. I was considering getting that suspension for my 97 GSR....Now I know I have to get ITR rear LCAs for my car or else the coilovers will not bolt up. My question is, if I get the ITR LCAs, considering the ITR has 10mm wider track than all other Integras, will the LCAs push my rear wheels out 10mm? I like these coilovers and I want to get the, for my car, but I don't want to get as far as getting a 5-lug conversion.

Will LCAs push out my wheels too far?

No, you will be fine. I have the RE on my car with ITR lcas, and my car is fine the way it sits.

Well, I like the RE, since it's a better coilover. It has full length adjustability, unlike the RA. If you are looking for ride comfort, these are definately not for you. They are very stiff and uncomfortable for daily driving. My car sounds like it's going to rattle to pieces, just from driving down the road. But the handling is awesome. I have not been in a car with better suspension, that is daily driven. I guess the true test for them will be when I go to road racing school in Feb.

Well i like the RA more for the fact that I dont want to be unbolting my control arms everytime I want to do adjustments to ride height....or am I wrong?

You are right, but with that way, you are changing the preload every time. If you have the RE, you can adjust ride height without changing the preload of the spring.

oh ok, if you don't mind..can you explain to me how that works? Adjusting the ride height by unbolting the control arm? I had the Tanabe Pro SS on my 92 DA and I adjusted ride height, but every time I did that, the spring either felt harder or softer......My friend had the TEIN Flex on his EG and somehow adjusting ride height by unbolting the LCAs he blew it....Guess I'm new to more advanced coilovers...

On the RE, there is another perch on the bottom of the shock. and the very bottom part of the coilover can be adjusted by twisting it down, then re-tightening the perch back down. And the preload of the spring is left the same. With the RA, you just readjust the 2 top perches, and it changes the preload everytime.
