if your parked and someone backs into you, and you dont have insurance at this specific time, will their insurance still fix your car? this happened today and i know i know its my fault for not having insurance but im going through some **** and my car was parked on the side of the road but the old guy for some reason needed the whole width of the orad to back out from his house, and right into my 1/4 panel. so will his insurance fix my car or do i have to depend on him paying for it. he says he will get it fixed for me

I don't think these are clear cut laws (depends on your local laws). You will probably get paid for buy you'd lose your license for 1 year if you were actually driving and you get caught with that here in California. But since it was parked... it should be okay...
