Default Car pulling to the left..cant figure it out

It started happening after i took my car to the track. I did alot of spinning and had disgusting wheel hop. I checked the axles and there is no rips or cracks in the boot. I did notice however that my lower balljoint boot on the driver;s side was rippedwas ripped, could that be the problem, I have a new balljoint that ill be putting in tomorrow

Align the car. Check tire pressures also.

That's just the simple stuff.

Check for play in the balljoint. remember whether or not it's leaking doesn't really matter it's if there is any play.

how DO you check the play in the balljoint?

glad I saw this.. I have to replace some boots at least and was wondering how to tell if the balljoints themselves were shot..

You can use a pry bar. Rest the middle of the pry bar on the inside off the rim and the tip at the bottom of the balljoint where the cotter pin is. then pull down on the pry bar. If the balljoint even moves the slightest bit replace it as it's not supposed to move at all.

Sorry if that's not the best description that's the best I can think of without actually doing it.

You will for sure need an alignment after replacing a balljoint.

A alignment shop should be able to tell you why the car is pulling.

Try this:

Jack up the front of the car and switch both left and right tires. Just remove the wheel from the car and change its position. NOT flip the tire.

Test drive the car and see if it pulls the other way, if it does, its the tire.

This is what you call a radial pull which sometimes is a seperated belt.

When you go straight, is the steering wheel straight? I remember I messed up my alignment really bad once at the track and my car at the time started pulling to the left and the steering wheel was never at the proper position when the car was going straight. But after the alignment, it was fine.

no if i hold the wheel straight it goes straight, but as soon as i maybe let my hand off the wheel for a second it starts pulling to left, it never did that before, it would always stay straight, i checked my strut and its fine, ill let the shop figure out what the problem is
