is there a rev limiter in the rsx-s?
hey guys i need some help. i was wondering if all rsx-s stop at 5500 rpms. at the line my bro reved my car to launch, but it seemed like the car was cutting off or the limiter kickin in at 5500rpms in first gear. after the launch it is fine and goes all the way to 83oo rpms, i was just wonderin if anyone else had this happen to them. if u can give me any information before i take it in and get it checked out, i dont want to take it in for nothing. thanx guys

Not a rev limtiter hes talking about a launch limiter. In neutral and in fist when ur launching it only goes up to 5,500 and just bounces. How do we get that bull **** fixed. What am i supose to build my car and launch at 5500 on some slicks? PUAHAHAHAHA!!! come on now. Can i plug in any ECU. does anyone know about the ecu'z on these cars? OBD2 right? o ris it like obd3 **** if i know. And could i plug in a ITR ecu or wats up any info?thank u
i dont know what its called OBD3 or what, but its completely different than Integra ECUs.
RSX ECUs are said to be flash programmable (good) but not compatible with older ECUs (bad).
