Default urgent

so i was cleaning my engine and i start driving and like a mile down the road my car starts to like pause when i hit the gas then like 45 seconds after that my check enging light comes on. I am freakin out so if any of u guys can tell me what might posilby be wrong with my car leave it here

you probably water got on some parts. just let it dry and see it if anything happens after.

You didn't cover the distributor. Let it dry and the coil will stop firing into the water and you'll get much better reaction from your throttle. The dizzys on our cars are bad enough, but wetting them down is going to give you some real problems.

that happened with my car, because i bought some **** that said you don't have to cover anything. it took like 2 days to dry it out completly, check the spark plugs and the wires, dry them out with a shop vac or a paper towel. blow out all connectors with some kind of compressed air and that should speed up the process, or just run it and wait.

tryed to start it this morning and ran fine all day so i guess it just needed to dry
