I plan on getting the 18mm adjustable cusco sway bar to replace my stock Si rear unit on my 97 ek hatch. I have the OTS ground control rates, would this be safe for my subframe? Or, should I opt for a reinforcement, like the beaks kit ,or Aspec racing unit.

In addition, Can i reuse the si hardware (enlinks, brackets, etc.) with this unit?

Ive had a 19mm swaybar on my civic for 3 years now and its been fine. Youll be ok

 

Someone makes a $50-60 kit to reinforce the subframe...you should look into that just to be safe. Broken subframes are ugly.
