I'm new and bought a 92 vxhelp please!
So I just bought this vx hatch cause I got a good deal on it but I am now looking up aftermarket stuff and there isn't **** for them. I have the D15Z1 motor and it is so much slower then my accord.
Info on the car.
5 sp.
D15Z1
130k
body in great shape.
Help, is there any performance stuff out there for this motor?

Ok i used to have a D15z1 before i swapped it out. The best you can do is a junkyard turbo kit for it but dont expect to get past 150hp or so. It's been dont a few times, check out TurboD16.com they might have something. Other things include 2.5 or 3 inch home made intake, new plugs & wires, 2.25inch custom exhaust, and a change over to the 92-95 SI tranny. It's a great engine if you need a beater, but power potential isnt great so if power is what you are looking for then time for a swap. OH, stick with light weight rims too. Hope that helps.
you have an economy motor. the only way to deconomize it is by a full rebuild, or shove sommore pounds per square inch into that combustion chamber.
SIMPLY PUT: YOUR ECONOMY MOTOR WILL BE AN ECONOMY MOTOR, unless its built, or you have a nice sized turbo on it.

Well I have a Greddy T3 turbo and everything already, all I need is the exhaust manifold but I can't find one for that motor, anyone know where to get a turbo manifold that will fit the D15Z1? The turbo was gonna go on my accord but I decided to turbo this instead.

Dont even worry bout buying one. Make an adapter plate that bolts to the VX manifold. check out http://www.homemadeturbo.com for info on how to do it.
