i was reading on some sites that you can use a tach with shift light and a relay to power vtec.
i have d16z6 running a pm6, and since i dont have enough cash to cough up a vtec controller, i was wondering if anyone has ever ran this set up and could possibly lead me to the right way.
search function
TIA

if you want to cheat, T the wire going to your shift light straight to the vtec solenoid. your shift light will indicate when in vtec. or cut the wire so its not shining in your face all the time.

there is only 1 wire on the vtec controller which is right by the distributor. the wires going to the shift light cant always have juice because the light would always be on!
