Default For all you civic owners with integra dash conversion.

hey guys, i have a civic with an integra dash conversion and i was wondering when i know i'm out of gas. I'm pretty sure that the civic fuel tank is smaller than the integra. I have an ls cluster and i know i would be out of gas before the needle gets below the E. If anyone would could help that would be great. Thanks.

You mean the gauges don't work the same?

thanks for the replies, but what i'm asking is since there's a difference in fuel tank sizes, wouldn't my gas run out before my gauges get to E on the ls cluster?

Yeah I'm pretty sure your gauges will read it fine, because the data being sent to the cluster most likely only contains percentages and not quantities. Or thats how I interpret it. I use the word "data" loosely.

gas gauges read in ohms. as in, 13 ohms is a full tank, 0 is empty. the bigger tank would just mean that the floater arm has a bigger sweep, or it moves more slowly, but wither way it still has the same range of motion.

your cluster should read the same.. u can be on the safe side and set your trip odometer and try and refill at a certain mileage all the time..
