Welcome to the integra world. 94-99 GSRs have a different exhaust and header then the rest of the teggy line up (RS, GS, LS, Type R). I believe the GSR has a shorter header and longer exhaust while the others have a longer header and shorter exhaust

 

So the 98 ls has the same header and exhaust set up as the type r??

no, the the type r has larger diameter header and exhaust and is designed differently to flow better. however, the dimensions are the same, so if you see a header that will fit a 97-01 type r, it should fit your gs. 00-01 gsr's also have the same dimensions for the exhaust so they will work with your setup as well.

just remember this, in terms of exhaust fitment:
97-01 itr = 94-01 ls/gs/rs = 00-01 gsr
