My roommate has a 94 jdm gsr swap in his 89 hatch. he currently has a 92 ls cable tranny on there with a act clutch, my question is about the splin size on the input shaft. He just bought the y1 today and we wanna swap them, but he would need to get a new clutch disc. the syncros are bad in the y1 as well. when we rebuild it can the ls mainshaft be put in the y1 and transfer the y1 gears to the ls mainshaft? has anyone done this before? basically we just dont want to order a clutch disc. thanks in advance
