i call bullshit, one, that pic has been used for i dont know how many type r swaps for sale on ebay, 2. a jdm r motor is not a fuking b18c5 its a b18c, if for whatever reason this auction is legit, the motor sure as hell isnt with no vin plates. but that pic ismore than likely a jdm unit, hence the valvecover and jdm units dont come with vin plates to begin with

since the VTEC symbol is bigger then the ones here in the US (i think)

yes there are still rivet holes on jdm trannys they just arent threaded holes.

usdm motors say honda motor co on the valve cover no the honda "H"

could be jdm...

no feedback...don't buy...

Looks like a pre 98 jdm itr engine.

That tranny without plates is exactly how my jdm tranny came. The little things that tip you off are the lack of one vacum port on the back of the IM, the cromed oil cap, the "lack" of vin (not just a theft sign) and what leads me to pre-98 is the header being the 4-2-1, unless it was switched out.
