Default VAFC installation

Well a buddy of mine had a B18C-R in his DC2, well now he is putting in a B18C-T , well anyhow..I got the spoils in the form of a VAFC...it had the ITR setting in it...so i had to lean it out on the bottom a little....2 things, he cut the wires at the ECU, so i got no connectors..but i did get a book for it.

1. what would anyone recommend for settings until I get it tuned
JDM B16A, ITR cams, 4-1 header, SRI, 2.25 inch exhaust

2. it is now rev limiting at 7500, what would cause that?

The vafc does not have a rev limiter setting.

the VAFC didnt change the rev limiter.

set settings to 0 until you get on a dyno or find a WB02.

why advance timing? your supposed to retard your timing a little when you turbo, not to mention the AFC advances timing itself.

For some reason this sounded kind of gayish.

Like everyone else said, VAFC does not control the rev limit.

The VAFC settings should be set at 0 till you get it tuned.
