You should spend the money on some english lessons before you pay for a RHD integra.

RJ, enough already.

frankly put, youre not going to be able to register a rhd vehicle unless you spend alot of time replacing non DOT items.

I've heard that you can register the car over in Arizona without any problems. Then just bring the car back and register it here in Cali. If you read the latest Honda Tuning magazine, they have an article on a RHD CRX that went through that procedure. You might want to contact that shop for help.

Here's some info from the DMV website on Non-Resident vehicles. Oh and if you have a AAA membership try to do most of your registration through them.

It's not hard if you are smart about it. Send the car seperate from the engine and you can designate both as "parts". As long as it is not a full up vehicle u won't be taxed.

Actually i recently just tried to do that, and even that didn't work. Either i was unlucky or they changed the rules recently, but even pulling the motor didn't work. You basically have to break the car down even further to get it in the country. (That or have hookups)

rules have always been the same.
all cars not cut in half are considered "passenger vehicle" and not parts car. just that before containers get across without getting inspected by an agent. but now they are more aware of the situations almost all jdm containers gets insected.

the best way to go about getting a rhd is go see a vehicle importer broker and tell them what you want. imo

What island in Hawaii is this on? Id like to take a look at it and hassle the owner to see if the paper work is in place. Dispite the fact that most of the population of Hawaii is asian, it's extremely hard to get a RHD registered here. Some dude recently imported a RHD Skyline to Kauai only to find it was costing him too much money. The DMV even wanted this guy to import another one for crash testing....needless to say, he sold it and shipped it back to Japan.

If you have the chance to get the car registered in an area that doesn't do any smog testing you will have only moderate trouble getting it registered. If your in Cali which I think you are, good f*cking luck.

So like if I import a RHD car into Florida where there is no smog testing, would it be alot easier? Also do RHD's have vin numbers? What do they use to identify the car?
