Starter or I'm so stupid?
I had problems starting. Lots of clicks and blinking. First I jumped it. The AAA battery assist came to test my battery and I had to replace it.
Now, month after, I have the same problem. After a short stop, it'd not start.
The alternator is fine. The battery is new (although the positive connector can be "twisted" b/c loose bolt). Could it be the spark plugs or the starter?
I'm still a Noob after 5 months of having a clean CRX. Please, help ...

First of all make sure all batt. connections are tight. 2nd make sure all grounds are good. If it always starts after along drive and doesn't on short drives you need to check for parasistic draw. Meaning something drawing current when the car is just parked. You can use a amp meter to test this. With the doors shut and key out of the ignition connect the amp meter in series with the neg. batt. terminal. Set the amp meter to milliamps and you should get a reading between 35-100 depending if you have a alarm or other add ons. The lower the reading the better.

When your starter is going bad or is bad you will hear the clicks, almost sounds a machine gun sometimes. What is blinking though ?
Usually if you go for a long ride and shut the car off and try to start it right back up, and if it don't crank its usually the starter. Next time it will not start, have someone crank the car while you hit the starter with a heavy object.

i recently had a prblem similar to this one, my starter was good and my battery and my alt. but when i tried to start my car it would turn over at all it would just make a click sound, my dash light when dim but my headlights and all would stay on fine. it wasnt grounding out right. all my grounds were fine. i hjad to run another ground coming from my starter to the body and it has worked fine now everytime
