Default ITR vs. GSR shift linkage..MikeK??

Is there a difference(size/strength/part number) between the US shift linkage(both bars) VS. the US GsR shift linkage?

Yes...

ITR Shift Linkage = ITR Shifter

They are same length though...

Sorry, I am kind of slow today. Could you explain that more. I am not referring to the shift lever but the linkages on the bottom. Are they phsically different in size but same length?

same thing dude!
they might have different part numbers, Honda/Acura like to use lots of different part numbers.

handled both, the itr was noticably lighter. it seemed to be made out of a different material, i'm sure mike can verify this.

not sure what metal the itr linkage is made out of but its alot lighter. (goldish color) Not sure if it improves shifting or not. came with my swap.

Only JDM is a different color. USDM is plain black.
Shifter and shift linkage are two separate things.
The shifter itself is identical, the linkage is different. Larger diameter and
hollow if im not mistaken.

The shifter is the same.
The extension rod is the same.
The change rod is about .01 lbs lighter. GSR has a little metal piece at the end, and the ITR does not.

There's not much difference in weight at all.

But for those interested, the ITR linkage is a few bucks cheaper than GSR.
