Friend at work has an EG (I know this is the EF forum, but the question applies still) with a GSR swap.

It's being run with a P28 so the IAB is not hooked up.

I showed him how stupid easy it would be to add the 2 wires for IAB and run a P72 so I got him interested.

He didn't do the swap so he's not sure if the IAB system is even on the motor.

I want to go take a look at the car myself without fumbling around "guessing" where these parts are.
Anybody got pics of the vacuum diaphram location and the black canister/solenoid location under the manifold?

I used search... there were NO PICS, but lots of broken links and lots of info on how to wire them up.

Got another question.

I checked the tubing and it's all ran correctly for the IAB system.

I found a possible problem with the purge cut solenoind though.
In the pic on my previous post it shows a tube "12" going from the manifold to the purge cut.
On his car, the nipple on the intake manifold had a tube going from it directly to the charcoal canister.
A line goes from the canister to the purge solenoid like ti's supposed to.

Then the other hose for the purge (supposed to be "12") went to a T fitting that was put in line "17"

I would attempt to fix it, BUT where is the other line from the charcoal canister supposed to go? It's not shown in the pic.
