i'll be picking up a 94 d16z6 later today and it's going in my 92 CX hatch. i was wondering since the motor is out, what should i change before i put it in? ie: clutch, flywheel, pressure plate also, what should i change to insure that i have my new motor running perfect

 

if you have the flow.. go with oil pump, water pump, head gasket check the dizzy. Thats what I'd recommend..

 

Belts, distributor cap, plug, wires, water pump (if you want)
you can also check to see if the vtec solenoid filter screen is cloged up.

 

don't forget compression check on that so it's running evenly stable.
