So i just bought a crx the only problem it has is the infamous quarter panel rust. It's not bad it looks as if it has just started. My question is how much will a body shop charge me to fix them and get rid of the nasty rust?

 

go get an estimate from a body shop. how can people who have no clue to what your car looks like give you an idea on how much it will cost to fix. You know that thing between your ears....yeah use it

LOL...I just being an *** my fault. It shouldnt be too expensive but Im sure no one on here will give you a better answer take it to a body shop for a REAL estimate so they can see where the rust in uder the car and such.

If it were mine Id keep it the way it is if you are selling it.

 

ok, i was just trying to get an idea of how much it would be. i just bought it I plan on taking it to a body shop to get an estimate thanks anyways

 

For a crx ,that rust isnt bad at all..
First thing to do is take off that damn rubber lining that goes up around the fender
Thats how they all rust to begin with....
Take it to a bunch of body shops and get a price range ..then go to the one u think will work out best....make sure they have fixed rust before...and make sure they cut out the rusted metal and weld new metal in....
It shoudnt cost that much to fix..

Yeah ..just pull it and it'll come right off
But I gotta warn you ...you might find even more rust under that lining..Thats what happend to me..

 

thats also what happen to me. Yeah it looks like there isn't much rust and then tear in to it!!!!! Check my sig for more information about my situation. And it look as bad as yours.
