Wierd Tps Problems

Default Wierd Tps Problems

well im trying to hook up my vafc and i measured my tps voltafe at the tps and its around .25-.30 and it doesnt change when i move the throttle. why would it just go bad like that or is there a bad connection of some sort?

If it works fine, then make sure you're testing the right wires.

usually the center wire is the one you need to tap. it should change in voltage as you rev. i think o to 6 volts dc

0.4v to 0.5v for idle

4.5v (around there) for WOT.

i think you are tapping into the refrence wire on the tps(one of the outer wires). You need to tap into the middle wire as stated above. And i second that .5 idle, and 4.8-5.0 at WOT.
