CEL Code on 2000 SI
I have a 2000 SI, and my check engine light came on after I installed a after market cat converter, but when I went to get it installed the mechanic said my O2 sensor was messed up and I needed to get a new one, and so I did and I fixed it. I reset the ECU and every thing was fine until after a while of driving the CEL came on again. The code it is throwing is 36 or 37. Does anyone know what that is on a 2000 model?
You sure you are reading those codes correctly. Double check them. There are no codes 36, 37 on a 2000 Si. There is a 63 (secondary 02) and a 73 (misfire #3) though. Check those codes again.

Don't mean to be mean, but again, did you read the link (not you, original poster). Good info.

Well, according to the link, there is no code 67. So, what you are saying is that it blinks long 6 times, then short 7 times? Between each code you should get a tiny break. Wait until the ecu repeats the first code. It will continue going through the codes over and over. You just have to watch carefully.

Register on http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com. You might have better luck getting the video up, seeing as though I couldn't view your vid on geocities.

Hmmm...yeah. I guess we don't know then. Like JDMlyfestyle said, he doesn't have that one on there and I have never heard of it. Maybe check with the dealer about that one. I would that thet should have every code available to man. Good luck. Sorry we couldn't help out.
