I have a 89 honda crx dx....i converted it to MPFI. I am putting a B18B1 (98 intergra) and a 89 CRX JDM head on it. i have the engine put together. all i have is head and block. i am wondering what it is i need to get it into my car and running. any hints or tips or maybe a detailed site. thanx

 

yea here is a tip, SEARCH.... is on the top right of this site, u can loook fo all sorts of things its like christmas

 

you need to do the lsvtec conversion. if the motor is already put together then i assume you bought it like that. you will need **** like mounts, linkage, axles, tranny and random stuff.

 

do you have the vtec head on the block already? or you're trying to figure how to put the head on the block?

 

I put the engine together myself. I have just never dropped this engine in a crx. So i do not understand the wiring and things that must be done. i understand tranny, axles, shift linkage, wiring, mounts.....just its the nitty gritty stuff i need.

Add 4 wires to the harness for vtec and get a obd0 vtec ecu..pr3..pwo..etc........
Its the same as swapping in a b16..

And there's alot of "how-to b16 swap" web pages..

 

Does the stock wiring harness connect to all the sensors on the 89 crx jdm head as well as the block?
