Default 2002 HONDA ACCORD SE ECU HELP........

I need help with my factory ECU box. I just installed it a few days ago and when I tired to start the engine, it would not turn over, Could anyone help me with this, is there any other things you must do after plugging it up. Do I need to reset the new ECU box,or what. Please give me your input on this.

you must set the keys to the ecu the only way to do that is with a 6000.00 computer....... or you can tow the car to the dealer and let them program the keys for you ... my local dealer charges 82.95

Or did you really mean that it doesn't fire?

You program the immobilizer to accept the keys.

I dont think that he actually meant that you reprogram the keys, but reprogram the immobilizer to the keys. But for sure you will be needing that done if it already hasn't been done. If not, make sure that you have all the clips in properly or maybe you sparked the computer when you installed it. (didn't disconnect the battery when removing/installing, could create a spark which computers don't like)

i just had mine done this week and it cost 82.95 ... at the dealer anyway ...

or you can call a locksmith and they can do it also but they charge 250.00 the good thing about a locksmith is that they will come to you without towing the car ...

the immobolizer is not a fuel cutoff it just doesent allow power to the distributor trust me i have experance in this ...
