k20a swap plz help
i have a question about the k20a swap. you know how when you get the k20a with the ecu the ecu only respnds to the transponder key, what if u dont have that key. what do u do then? thanks

From what I heard on the K20a ECU you can bypass the immobolizer. I'm pretty sure there's a couple of guys on K20a.org running K20a ECU.

no, i know they reprgram the ecu to work with youur key... my main question is what key do you use... can you use the key that you regulary use or do you have to use a newer honda key with that chip in it?

No reprogramming anything. You keep the key that came with your car.

If you are using a k20a (JDM engine and ecu), then you don't need to do anything. There are no immobilizers in the Japanese cars. You'd run one of the PNP harnesses provided by multiple companies, use your stock ignition, and go...

The above is somewhat correct, JDM K-series ECU's do have an immobilizer, but if you are using a Plug and Play harness they are very easy to bypass. The JDM immobilizer only controlls fuel (the fuel pump), where the USDM controls both fuel (the pump and injectors) and ignition.
