Which xenon bulbs is the best??
I'm thinking about buying a set of xenon gas filled bulbs for my 02 Accord V6 coupe instead of doing a full HID conversion. The reason being that I don't have the kind of money needed to do a full conversion at this time. But I do need brighter illumination for my car..the stock halogen bulbs just doesn't do it for me anymore. Also, would it make more sense to get both the 9005 & 9006 bulbs for both high and low beam setup? I'm hoping someone has an idea about this. All info will be appreciated! Thanks in advance.
well if you want brighter output. pretty much your only option is real HID setup.
otherwise you could go with 100watt bulbs which i highly discourage as this will only fry your wiring harness.
dont let blue tinted bulbs claiming "like HID" fool you....these actually put out less light on the road.
your best bet is just to stick with the stock bulbs or get some sylvania silverstars....
also picking up a nice OEM foglight kit would do nicely

I have Eurolite Super Plasma 9005 bulbs for high beams and Farenheit 9006NW bulbs for low beams. I had the Eurolite 9006 bulbs for low beams also and they were great but burnt out every two months give or take a week or so. I tried 2 sets. The high beams are over a year old and still work fine*knock on wood*. The light output is very good with them. I have Farenheit bulbs now for low beams but have only had them for a month or so and they are also better than stock but I don't know how long they will last but hopefully won't burn out like the low beam Eurlolites. I ran stock ones for about 1 year inbetween. The Farenheits are a little brighter than stock and whiter but not blue just white. I would reccomend either the Eurolite Super Plasma High Beams but not low beams, the Farenheit Low Beams or I assume High Beams but haven't tried them, or the Sylvania Silverstars they all are brighter and whiter and better than stock although they are not blue. The blue ones look nice I think but you can't see crap with them especially in rain and they actually reduce light output so don't get those. Also don't get the 80W bulbs unless you upgrade the wiring as they will melt the harness and may not for a few months but a good chance the will eventually.

You can buy the Sylvania ones at Wal-Mart or most auto parts stores. I assume your car takes the same size as my 96 which are 9005 and 9006 which is what I think you said yours took also.

You beat me to it as it took me a while to type that. They 80W low beam and 100W high beams don't really help light output they look a little brighter from the outside but most of them well all I have seen are blueish and put out less light than the stock bulbs. The stock bulbs are pretty good but I don't like the color. You could also modify a 9005 bulb to work as low beam also.
