Default jackson blowers

im going to have a new jackson S/C install d this week...the shop has done alot of install s and is on the recommend d shops list of Jackson Racing...im not opting for the boost upgrade..not legal in calif..they have a vacum monitoring box available also..should i opt for that?..i just want to know about other experiences with the blower..good or bad..

the blower is going into a D16...dont know exactly what its going to cost total..but the blower i got for $2100..also theyre doing a clutch and brake upgrade..the whole thing is going to come to $3900..besides this..ive already a MSD upgrade, susp. as well a DC headers...with new piping...

I'm not saying that you can't make a D16 fast. I have a d16 at the moment...but after careful researching and talking to others...it just seems more cost effective to do a swap. You can have the same power, if not more, than a d16 supercharged...plus maintain stock reliability (if the motor is good that is). Good luck!
