Default Back from the Acura Dealership.

So i go to the Acura Dealership today to pick up my front emblem. My front acura badge was stolen and needed a replacement. So the service guy and i begin to talk. All of a sudden, he brings up my paint. "That's a nice paint job you got there where'd you get it done? It looks really well done" I, without trying to correct him, simply just say thanks and walk away. to the people that work at Acura dealerships.

are you saying he didn't think it was a real aaR? If so, I to seem to get more people who think mines a fake Itr than a real one. I've had quite a few "nice five-lug conversion" comments...lol

I figured the ppl working at the dealership would know that th epaint job was the oem paint job not a custom one. IT seemed like he didnt knwo wut a type-r was.

Considering even the newest Type Rs are almost 4 years old and any CW ITR is at least 7 years old, ever cross your mind that the guy working at the dealership was aware of what your car was but had never seen one before? to you for being an asshat.

yepz. I agree with this guy.

Just because they work there doesn't mean they know everything that has an acura badge on it. Be considerate, some people work to make a living...rather then live in there parents house, and have everything given to them.

Not surprised. I knew much more about the TL than the sales person did. He tried to convince me that the base automatic trans. model and the 6 speed manual had the same brake calipers.

Some dealerships service a lot of them. Some don't.

I can assure you that if you bring your car to Woodfield Acura in Hoffman Estates, or Pauly Acura in Highland Park, or Acura of Brookfield near Milwaukee for service, they know the ITR very well. The other seven dealerships in the Chicago area, not necessarily.

Wow, that's such an intelligent generalization.

Yeah, that's pretty bad though. All you have to do is look at them to see that they're different.
