I'm driving a 94 Si, about 3 yrs ago I heard what sounded like metal dragging on the ground and a squeeking from when I would rock the car or just turn the wheel. There was nothing dragging and when I got to the garage the sound was gone. I never heard that noise again till 2 days ago..the dragging noise has stopped again but squeeking noise is still there. Doesn't matter if I'm driving or parked. I can just turn the wheel and it's a god awful squeeeeeeeek. Coming from the front driver side wheel/axle area. And that dragging noise I have no idea what it could be.. Any thoughts?

 

is there any knocking noises?

are your brake dust shields touching the rotors?

do you have aftermarket springs?

 

No, stock springs (for now).. I did just change the brakes last week though..the noise seems more to be coming fro the axle..between the inner and outer boot..

 

check your dust shields...bend em back some, and see if that helps.
