fuel upgrade?
If i bought a bigger throttle body, would i need to raise the fuel pressure especially when at idling, because my car wants to shut off after i put on my throttle body? It seems like since i have to keep giving it gas until it gets hotter, i was thinking that it might be a sensor but i dont know how, it does the opposite, instead of the car idling higher when cold it revs veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery low. any input would be greatly appreciated!
first off, what throttle body did you use? i know the STR and possibly the JG Edelbrock, have no fast idle valves. so that would explain needing to hold the gas down. you shouldnt need to raise the fuel pressure if that is your only mod. but if you have others, yes a little more fuel wouldnt hurt.
you may be stuck with it if it is a race style throttle body. i had a 99 si i tried to talk this dude out of an STR t.b. but he wanted it and it didnt idle cold.
