Default Jdm cluster question *searched(well kinda)*

Obvioulsy im looking into buying one. but here is the deal. i recenlty was reading a magazing on an nsx and they were talking about when they were reading the speed they thought it was in kmh(whatever it is)but in actuallity it was in mph. So here is my question. How is it that they were able to change the kmh into mph. i searched around but wasnt able to find my answer. thanks guys.

they probably switch back the speedo gauge from a stock USDM one (needs to be exactly the same cluster but USDM one)... i mean you can open the cluster up and switch the gauges.. but IMO it defeats the purpose of having a JDM cluster... you should just get a TACH if you want the RPM to be higher...

not really because, 1. you dont have a rice tach 2. it would have a cleaner look. When they were talking about it in the magazine it actually read in kmh. but it was made to read in mph, like i originally stated.

I know exactly what you're talking about. Heres an excerpt from that part:

"One oddity is that the speedometer is marked in kph, but actually reads in mph. This blew our minds the first time we merged the monster onto the freeway. We quickly ripped through the gears and put the speedometer on 120 thinking that was about 80 mph. Nope. It was 120mph." ~ SCC

Unfortuanately I can't answer ur question
