rebuilt b16 head, now have low compression in #4 cylinder
i dropped a valve with my ls/vtec motor in the #4 cylinder, i sent the head to a machine shop to have it fixed, installed the head on my jdm itr block and now have low compression in the #4 cylinder. had a leakdown test done at the machine shop and they said it was the piston rings in that cylinder! i dont belive that because i ran a compression test with the itr head and it came out to 255 before i pulled out the itr head.. i removed the b16 head and they said all they can do is grind the valves in that chamber to help seat the valves, installed the head and got 90 psi in that cylinder =o( my question is what can the problem be??? i took pictures but my damn pc is acting up.. thanks in advance

yeah leakdown is the way to go.
yeah leakdown is the way to go.
Did you have the car at WOT when you did the test.. if the rings are good for sure its a valve.. most of the time its the rings, but this is LS/Vtec
