I have a 96 EK with 98 B18c1. Hi, I have now had to replace my speed sensor plug twice. The first was when my speedo stopped working and i check out the plug plugging into the sensor. Loads of green and rust buildup were in there. And also one of the small metal pieces from inside the sensor that make contact with the wires going to the ECU. So i get a newone. WOrks great for a while but, i also now know that i needed to get a new plug to plug into the sensor cause it still had stuff left from last time, which ruined my new sensor. Anyway, so i just got my newest one and also a new 3 wire plug for it.. What can i clean the terminals with to make sure there is nothing going to form again. Should i also cover the entire sensor somewhow so water doesnt get it. I mean it rests in a upward position so water sits inside where the electronic components are. Anyway. I am changing my sensor and stuff soon. maybe ill do a right up for everybody. peace.
