Hey I have a question Im running ls/vtec (gsr head) and I was curious If i run a jdm header and 2.5" piping out can i just have piping from the header out or is there another o2 sensor or something required for the cat or test pipe.

is your car obdI or obdII?

 

if your car is 97+ then there is another o2 sensor in the stock cat.

 

My car chassy is 2000... 2000 ls block.... 99 gsr head. But Im running a obd2 - obd1 jumper and a p28 ecu.

 

i have a 2.5'' Cat for sale if you want it.

 

if you are running obd-1 then you only need the one o2 sensor

 

so if i only need the one thats on the header what do i do with the existing one on the cat?

 

Unplug it from the connection and keep it as spare.
