Shaking while driving my CRX
okay every once and awhile...while im driving i hear this thumping sound...its really loud and i can feel it thru the steering wheel....well tonight it got so bad i was 45 min away and had to drive 20-25 the whole way home which sucked.... whenever i let off the gas, push in the clutch, well pretty much coast...it thumps constantly...any suggestions to what this is? somethin with the steering? it only comes from the front right soo if that helps thanks

Please help !!!
shakes is almost almost always tire problems. verify you have no wheel hop before doing anything else
you also could have warped rotors and a partially sticking caliper. Are your rims hot after driving?
the wheel bearing must be pressed in/out. You have to remove the knuckle and take it to a press.

oooh yeah
to check if it is a tire problem, let about 5-10 psi out of that tire and then drive the car.
the problem will go away significantly if it's the tire.
one of my tires has some serious out of round so i just run the thing like 5 psi below what it should be to minimize the shake/vibration
I'm a real safe guy right..

i had my front 2 replaced at pep boys and it was like 200-220 parts/labor
i got smart since then and now i can press them out myself. find someone with a press.....it will be MUCH cheaper.

think back..
did the noise start right around the time you put the new tires on?
because new tires are not always perfectly round....
