Emergency...installing BLOX IM in GSR-97 and get engine check etc
fock this ****....my BLOX IM came today, so i went to ACURA dealer get TB gasket and Im gasket...
install install and installe ended....after installed BLOX IM turn on the car ENGINE CHECK ...and idling at 3k rpm and rpm keep increase slowly over 3 wtf....so there are two sensor in stock gsr IM and two on TB...when switch them over for BLOX i think i got them swichted that why it idles at 3k rpm...so i turn off the car ...swithc the sensor with each other ...wtf...it ildes at 1,400 and decreasing really slow but at 1400 the ilding sound like it got choking the rpm go up and down at 1,400 really fast...
what could be wrong anyone have BLOX IM installed please help me out
thanx

here is a picture of my old IM the two circles are the two i dont know what to do with during installation...that engine bay is hybrid GSR in a civic with auto to stickshift conversion....
the one on the right is the solenoid to open/close the secondary butterflies, so you don't need that anymore. i can't tell what the other one is. just looks like a hose with a bolt in it.
just check your code, adjust the idle, and reset the ecu.

anyone know the possibilities of this...there is an engine check light 3seconds after engine turn on and the ild going weird......
engine check usually deal with sensors right....
idling weird...
i reseted ecu twice already....
i think i got all the hose into the right places...fuel rail go right in
what do i need to check for code?

same thing happened to mine when i installed my gutted port and polish gsr manifold. it was idling all weird and the check engine light came on. it would idle to like 4k and back down..and repeating itself.
I went back and checked everything it was the vacuum lines. i switched a vacuum line and that was it. ever since that i reset the C.E. and car's running fine.
looks like the second circle in your pic. there should be a vacuum line connected somewhere

here is a picture of BLOX IM will you label which one go where for me....do you have a picture of your engine with BLOX IM can i see it?
1-is your booster hose.
2 -should be going to your fuel press. regulator
3- I "T"ed this with #2 going to the fuel pressure regulator. You can also just block it.
4- i merged with my PCV valve line.

Surging idle after an IM install is most likely a vacuum line. A line somewhere is leaking, loose, or not connected.
Try going from hose to hose, pinching it to see if it affects the idle. Also make sure you torqued the manifold down well, and scraped off the old IM gasket well.

all sensors and hoses are in the right places....the only thing that can cause the problem is my fuel injectors...they dont fit back into the spot right....but can this be the cause...
anyone please...hook me up

Its probably a vacuum leak bud. Go get some staring fluid. Spray it in certain spots around your intake manifold, gaskets, throttle body, vacuum hoses etc etc. When the idle kicks up you'll know where the leak is. Also if you bumped the throttle body when you took it off it is very possible to mess up the cold start valve(fast idle valve or whatever it is called) on the bottom of it. You can find out if thats your problem by plugging the hole that goes to it with your finger while the car is running. your throttle body has 2 holes in it. One is for idle air control(which should be the hole on the top) and the other goes to the cold start valve. If you are looking inside your throttle body with your intake tubing off you'll see those 2 holes.
yeah there are two holes....bottom hole = Fas Idle Thermo Valve when i put my finger over i feel some air got sux in....when i block the F-I-T-V....nothing happend idle still surging up and down
for the hole on the top, when air got suck in...those air will go to IAC valve based on HELMS manual...so when i block that hole (top) with a pieace of cloth (some air still can get suck in just a little) the idle stay constant but at what rpm i dont know cause i could see it...sound like aroudn 1,500-2k....
could it be the SIAC where the IAC sensor located messed up? or the Idle Thermo Valve...
well i have test the starting fluid you told me...
