Im not a big fan of JDM front, but if you have it, a CF hood on a white R is the best combo. CF hoods on black Rs look stupid and on a yellow car it's just ok.

Best of both worlds:
Get a CF hood and paint it CW.

On black cars, I think, CF hoods look good. On light color cars they stick out too much.
Call me a weirdo, but if you're getting the hood for weight saving purposes I would really consider paiting in CW, I love the color. Just my $0.02, dont flame.

Not a big fan of the JDM nose.

However, if you are going to do it...it seems to me the JDM nose by itself puts the car "underground" but the carbon fibre hood makes it stand out more than the USDM nose by itself makes the car stand out.

Make sense? Every time I log on, there seems to be another theft or some kind of vandalism, and I'm not sure we want our cars to stand out more than they already do.

Two JDM's that I think look a cut above most: Vic Perri and Mike (ISP Racing).
thanks for input. i dont want to draw too much attention but the cf does look nice with the cw. soo right now, i'm still not sure. but thanks

GUYS: To those ppl that have CF hood, it needs to put on a clear coat before install on your car. That is the only way the hood will last. Once the clear coat is on, you can put wax, polish..treated like another body panel. Or else it will crack, fade, lot of scratches on it.
