Default camber kit options

Hello everyone I have a 95 accord ex 4dr, pro kit, 17s. I have nasty negative camber on the back wheels. I'm looking at getting a camber kit for the back. First of all, do I need a fancy APC or Ingalls one seeing as how it's only lowered 1.5 or so inches. Would a revo or OBX kit work decently? Second question, when I get a camber kit do I have to purchase new tires or will the tires even out significantly. The inside of the tires are pretty bad, but they're nice Toyo Proxies so I would like to salvage them as much as possible. I appreciate any help guys.

Michael

There's nothing fancy about APC, any of their products. I heard Ingalls is good. If it's only lowerd 1.5 inches I don't think your camber should be that bad. Especially in the back. But if it is, get a camber kit, then get an alignement done. As for the tires, if they're worn out pretty bad there isn't much you can do. They will wear better after the kit is installed but the damage is already done to them. Whether you want to get new tires is up to you. When I got my camber kit in I waited till my tires were almost bald to get a kit. Got new tires afterwards. But that's just me.

Thanks for the advice. The tires do have a lot of miles on them, so that's a decent idea. Does anyone know anything about the washer method? I heard it works perfectly on the rears of accords.

Once your tires are wore it will not matter is you put a camber kit or not they will keep wearing the same way.

As for the washers. You could do that since you are only lowered 1.5. My car is droped 3.5 and I don't have a camber kit in the rear. And my rear tires last me 8 months. I would have to get a kit if my tires didn't last any longer than that.

I couldn't see getting a camber kit if my car is only lowered 1.5. I would just save the money and do it the washer way.
