does anyone know if a jrsc would fit in my h22 crx

 

well since your asking that question i probably doubt you have a h22 crx. if you know anything about that swap then you know that that motor is pretty much already shoe horned into that engine bay and already know that theres isnt any room left for ****. i highly doubt theres room to add that

 

he couldv'e bought the car w/a h22.


you got more of a chance with a snail danglin on the front of it, but ehh, don't get too happy with boost. a friend of mine's prelude was real fast till a piston broke into four pieces

haha, didn't even notice that at first.

but it is still possible that he bought the car like that although i stongly doubt it.

 

it dosent matter if he even bought the car like that or now common sence will tell you by looking at the little amout of room if one will it or not

 

and on top of that i dont see him chiming back in to defend him self so he probably dosent even have such an animal

 

well sorry i havent got to post anything, had to go to work, i guess ive figured out that there is no way to fit a jrsc in my crx...and i hate turbos, so all motor would be the way to go, by the way could my car run low 12's or high 11's with a fully built head.

msd plug wires 8.5, type s cams, type s camshaft,
11:0:1 comp. 2150 lbs wot diver.

 

If you did some research you could be running 12's all day stock using a B series transmission with the right stuff.

supercharger = *driving down road, unable to see within 25 feet because of custom hood*

if I had that motor I would imagine the tire hookup problems already :D can't imagine what a supercharger would do to that

damn that swap must have been real expensive. How much did it cost you total?

 

just curious....but why is everyone doubting that he could have a h22 swap in a crx?? People do these swaps all day long. But fitting a supercharger is unlikely, since there is barely any room. Turbo COULD fit, but since you said no turbo, all-motor is a good bet and you'll be flying.

To go low 12's/high 11's, you might want to get better cams if you are gonna fully build the head and a good header and a good set of slicks. its all possible

 

The swap was a bitch that motor went in and out so many times just to fit and yes dont think its just the price of the motor and thats it. The swap is close to $5000.00 I think, but it was worth it at the end!
Im still waiting for the site too. My girlfriend is taking forever!!!!
