do I need a new head or what???
Look at the picture below, broken bolt that aparently came up from.. the head I am guessing. Is there a way to fix this so my valve cover is more secure. I can see oil around the edge of the gasket and a bit on the edge of the gasket you can see in the spark plug cylinders...
you dont need a new head. you will have to remove the valve cover and remove the broken bolt. then you just need to buy a new valve cover bolt and rubber grommet and you're good to go. the reason there is oil around the valve cover is because there is no seal due to the broken bolt. Also check your valve cover gasket to see if it needs replacing. the gasket kit comes with the rubber grommets for the bolts or you can just buy the grommets at most auto part chains.
BTW, does anyone here know anything about a White backlight clock that would go into a 92-95 Civic? I heard about one on this forum in a topic but no idea what it looks like nor how or where to get it!
