Default NEED HELP ASAP with rear strut tower install!!

While installing my spoon rear strut tower bar I almost stripped one of the nuts. I just can't get it off! I tried wd-40 and let it sit for awhile and went back at it. If I go any further, I round the nut off. What can I do? Take it to the dealer?
Help me please.

Are you using a 14mm deep socket?

Yeah, I'm using a deep socket. Only 1 bolt left. I've tried almost everything. Hammer...wd-40...man power.. If I could get this last one off, I'll be ready to put on the bar.

Try heating it with a propane torch.. Have an extinguisher handy, and a wet cloth to protect the surrounding area..

I had the same problem getting them off. I tapped the ratchet with a hammer (hard, but not too hard), and that did the trick. Before that, I tried to muscle it off and had no luck.

If you can't grip it with a wrench anymore you could always use a vise-grip.

Same exact thing happned to me installing the Spoon rear bar - the nut became rounded and there was no way in hell I was going to be able to get it off. I ran down to a local Goodyear shop and they went to work on it and got it off (it took a while) - and didn't charge me a dime.

I guess I'll try to have a tire store try to take it off tommorow. Thanks for all the help.
