nope! if it's made by honda, it uses Honda Manual Transmission Fluid.
You get it at the dealer, and don't bother coming up with your own recipe.

Synchromesh is good but only to get rid of grinds... it's not a cure-all for transmissions.

And use Honda Genuine Transmission fluid. Trust me, you'll be happier with it. If you have grinds just follow the directions to the synchromesh and it should smooth them out. But it truly just covers them up, it doesn't repair your synchros.

1 - Remember to always fully depress your clutch when shifting.

2 - Don't keep your foot on the clutch all day (pretend it's on fire... don't sit at an intersection with your foot on it).

3 - And if you smash a gear don't force it. Go back to neutral... reseat clutch and go again.

Those 3 things should preserve your throwout bearing and your synchros. But with hard driving and heavy shifting it's impossible to keep them forever. During daily driving be nice to your tranny, and it'll be nice back.

Well I hope the tranny I do end up getting wont have grinds but I dont want to take the chance of it grinding so I want to put in good fluid to help lessen the chance of grinding
