Hey, i have this hole in my dash, just need some ideas of what i could do with that hole WITHOUT replacing the whole dash.....heres what it looks like...

thanks!!

well.... make a plate of some sort add some guages maybe?
first thing i thought of was a colored platic plate with a light under it... cut out letters for C R X and then power it up....bet it would look pretty cool. i can be ricey sometimes..... 80)

only thing i worry about is that is the heater duct, HOT air blows out through that, so, i don't want to put anything in there that shouldn't get too hot, gauges isn't too bad of an idea though, i'll see what ideas i get and go from there...

Okay manson you ricer
...LOL, just kidding, that would look neat but as you stated possibly on the ricey side. However you got me think that an LCD screen would look good in there.
Or a carbon fiber or brushed aluminum with gauges would look nice. Roll the carbon fiber and brushed aluminum in a bag with Manson's idea and cut out CIVIC or HONDA in the fiber or aluminum and put some colored plexy glass behind it.
Can I ask WTF is there a hole in the dash?

i'd probably have to write civic, it's a 4 door civic....could an lcd screen withstand the heat from the heater though, that's what i'm not too sure about...

when i bought the car, that hole was already there, don't know why, i just want something there that will look good and that can withstand some heat, i'm thinking about throwing a couple gauges in there, but i'm not sure yet...depends on if i get any other good ideas....

i've heard that it is kinda a hard swap and if you get it done, chances are it might rattle a little bit, so i figured i could just maybe make somethiing that would go in there, probably be a little quicker and a little more dress up for the interior...
CIVIC written on diamond plated steel <~ Rice
Isn't that like a skin? Why not try to find a piece that size from another Civic at a junkyard and plug it, then use that leather/vinyl patch **** that makes it blend together. - Darrell
