fitment issues: AEM fuel rail with stock IM and injectors...
I started piecing my car back together tonight....
Anyone have fitment issues when using the AEM fuel rail with the stock IM and stock injectors? The rail fits on the IM fine, but the injectors dont appear to be seating fully in the IM o-rings. I can literally move the injectors up and down when the fuel rail is fully tightened. I know the injectors arent usually super tight and you can twist them slightly, but mine are really loose. Curious if anyone else had this issue.
PS...Im not using my stock fuel rail because it was stolen and the AEM is the one I was using on my JG IM, which Im not going to be using anymore since car is going back to mostly stock.
Thanks

I had the same setup without any issues. I wonder if maybe some new O rings would help. Like you said, they should be tight. Mine were so tight I had to use a little motor oil to keep the O rings from tearing.
did you run diff injectors before? i know when i ran Rc's i neede to bore the injector seals out to get them to fit. if you did and went back to stock injectors that could be it. If everything else is stock you shouldnt have this prob. Ive done this set up a few times and never an issue
