turbo quetion!

Default turbo quetion!

my buddy wants to install a turbo. he drives a 93 hb with 00' si motor and a lude ecu. he wants to know that if he install the turbo, does he has to change the ecu too??

tell him he needs to do alot of research before he installs a turbo if he has to ask this question.

And I agree in all seriousness. I wouldnt want to ruin a $1-2000 B16...but WTF is he running a prelude ECU????

Seriously .... when you dont have to ask any questions (other then good tuning places) then your ready for turbo.

I remember when i was going turbo when i was done researching i didnt have to ask a single question. It was great, and no **** ups

Prelude ecu (p12?) why?

Get rid of the ecu even if he doesn't go turbo. I had a GSR ecu for a while (unknowingly), and that was bad enough. I can't imagine running a Lude ecu. Get a P30 or chipped P28 immediatly.

Yeah there is sooooo much good turbo info between here and homemadeturbo.com

I would spend hours reading. Even some of th questions I did have, I either figured it out or read up on it.
