Hi How are you. I am looking to find a solution for a front end rattle in my 1993 SI HB CIVIC. ITs got a rattle, i am not talking about the sidepannels and the speaker pannels and all the plastic stuff but its either under the car or its in the dash.

ITS NOTHING LIKE the suspension or anything like that.

IT ALSO DOES go away sometimes.

anyone with any problems like this?? i mean i only used to have the cup holder and small stuff that i could find now this and its loud i have checked alot of stuffman.

Well, you can do two things. 1) get under your car, and look for anything loose. 2) deal with it.

 

did you check out the heat shield?

also double check all screws/bolts on the front end

 

also check your exhaust i know my friends rattles sometimes and then it stops that could be the problem

 

yeah man and it was loose. only one bolt and then the rattle was gone. so i thought and then it came back. I WAS SO HAPPY THAT IT WAS JUST THE HEAT SHIELD. THEN IT CAME BACK AND THE HEAT SHILD WAS STILL TIGHT

Oh yeah it only does it when its driving on the road. i had it in my garage on jack stands going through all the gears and it was not doing it so i have no idea.
