I have an 00Si but I am running a p-28 with a high flow cat (secondary 02 removed) I think my Primary 02 took a **** on me. I have my secondary 02 sitting at my sisters house, before I drive over there to check, are the primary and secondary 02 sensors interchangable? In other words can I use my secondary 02 sensor in place of my primary?

i hate giving out info that im not 100% positive about, but im pretty sure the only diff between the two o2/s is the length of the wires. A friend of mine used a secondary ho2s in the primary spot, this was in a 99 GSR btw.

 

the 2ndary will plug in and work just fine as a primary

The diff between the two is that the secondary has that grommet on the wires that plugs into the floor board to keep water out of the car. I just remembered

 

thats fine as long as it plugs in and works so I can begin to figure out what the problem is with my car...
