Drain oil?
Gauges are 1/8" NPT fittings
Block is 1/8" BSPT fitting.
Some install the fittings, but I'm not one to screw up threads.
Also if you are retaining the factory switch for the idiot light....
mount the tee to the firewall. If you mount it to the tee on the block, one of 2 things will happen. Either the sender will die from the vibrations, or it will break off.
Lucky my sender died after 520 miles, but I was getting on motor after minor rebuild. Nothing like doing 120 in 4th and looking at oil pressure and see NOTHING!!!!!!
Yes, I about crapped my pants!

yea, do not screw the sender into the block. the threads will break off if you drive your car hard.....i learned this when installing the turbo, went to put the oil feed line in, unscrewed the sending unit, that had the tee on it, and part of the tee was broke of inside, thank god an easy out saved the day, i got lucky that time........my **** is mounted to a bracket right above the oil feed lne on the back of the block, that's teed witht the dummy light and there no real stress on the threads....
