si motor in a 89 auto dx

Default si motor in a 89 auto dx

Wonder if this will work....if i would need to change out the ecm or anything?

it will work just need the ecu...or automatic equivalent ecu

first thing you would need to do is the DPFI to MPFI wiring changes

So you want to keep the auto tranny and that's it right?

Lie jlicrx said, you will need to do the DPFI to MFPI conversion. It's VERY simple so don't even think it's a lot of work.

You will need to find an ECU from a 90/91 Civic sedan EX that had an automatic tranny. The manual tranny ECU from an Si won't work. You might be able to use the ECU from an automatic DA Integra, but it will probably run pretty rich.
