Default What Ecu??!!

OK I have a 91 DX with an auto tranny. I just picked up another intake off an Si and before I did my complete motor and tranny swap I was going to just do a DPFI to MPFI swap just for the heck of it to see what difference it makes on my D15 with an auto tranny. Plus I kind of like the way my auto shifts so I was just curios since I have the extra parts lying around. OK now what I want to know is what ECU should I use?? I mean it will be the DX motor with the MPFI swap with an auto tranny. Should I get a ECU out of an Integra with an auto or is that really going to mess with my fuel?? Is there any other ECU I can use for this setup?? ANY help would be greatly appreciated!! TIA!!!

If you don't have any of your parts yet look for the 90-91 EX auto ecu and intake manifold. If you go with the intake manifold off of a CRX or Civic Si you will be missing the vacuum hookup that is associated with the auto tranny.

Just something to keep in mind.

I have a 90-91 EX auto ECU if you need it. The ecu code for them is PS9 just in case you want to check about it.

So then is it even possible to use the Si intake with an auto tranny??

I would think that it is possible. You may have to tap into a vacuum line somewhere though.

Does anyone know what the engine code is off of a 90-91 EX? Or well what motor would I get the auto intake off of? Is it a D16A6? Just with an auto tranny?

Where would I tap into one? And what exactly is the vacuum line for? Has anyone ever done this swap?

i THINK you also need an auto t-body, theres another cable running to the throttle plate on automatics that manual t-bodies dont have.
